Sea Scouts currently sail two types of boat Sunbursts and Cutters. The Cutter is the workhorse, the Sunburst the racehorse. Britannia have four of each although one of the Sunbursts is in need of a major rebuild and won't sail this summer without substantial effort.
To honour the noble cutter the Sea Scout Association has put together a website to record details of the nation's Cutter population. Britannia's Cutters
- 9 - Gordon Campbell
- 10 - Britannia
- 11 - Amokura
- 12 - Falcon
are duly recorded and you can check the age of the old girls (boats are always female !).
