Britannia Scouts rowing a cutter

421 Evans Bay is home to the Britannia Sea Scouts.

From the outside the hall looks from the outside like an overgrown boatshed which is exactly what it is. This building has housed Britannia for over 40years.  It has seen many cubs, scouts and leaders through its doors in that period and more than a little bad weather.

Maintenance is a continual challenge, the sea is a cruel master (OK a little bit poetic) and there is always something to be done around the building.

Our current plans include the addition of a toilet and the replacement of some weatherboards on the southern wall.
