About Britannia Sea Scouts
We are a Sea Scout group in Evans Bay, Wellington. We cater for tamariki and rangatahi from 10-18 years old and have something for everyone.
We are a volunteer organisation dedicated to educating and developing rangatahi in the district. We are a very active group with cubs, scouts and venturers sections with supportive leaders and a parents' committee.
We do sailing, rowing, kayaking, tramping, camping, and everything in between. We help out at community events and are engaged in the broader community.
Sailing, boating and regattas
We participate in a range of regional and national events. Over summer, there are regular local sailing and rowing regattas. The scouts and venturers get out in our boats most weeks during term time, depending on the weather.
The main sailing event for our group is the National Regatta, which occurs every three years.
